  • After keeping it well hidden for more than a year (or getting it repierced recently), Scarlett Johansson was snapped with her nasal septum retainer flipped down during a stroll in Manhattan yesterday. She also showed off a new tattoo on her forearm and her old tragus (ear) piercing.
  • Staying in New York, Liv Tyler - accompanied by her husband Royston Langdon and their son Milo - took a walk around the city’s West Village on Sunday to celebrate her 30th birthday yesterday. Liv and Royston were later seen having a pre-birthday meal together at the area’s Spotted Pig restaurant.
  • Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman have also been in New York recently - they were snapped having a loved-up hug and a kiss on the street over the weekend.

  • Speaking of loved-up couples, over in Los Angeles Kate Bosworth was snapped with boyfriend James Rousseau recently. The couple have been dating since late last summer.
  • Still in LA, Jessica Biel was papped shopping at the Brentwood Farmers’ Market on Sunday - but then asked the photographers to leave her alone so she could finish her shopping in private.
  • And fellow Jessica, Jessica Simpson this time, was snapped while working out on Monday. Ms Simpson is getting into shape for her new film Major Movie Star but by the looks of her calf muscles, might be training a little too hard…
  • Over in London, Kate Middleton showed a late night on Sunday (the ‘Concert for Diana’ after-party) didn’t stop her from meeting up with her mum for a stroll. Doesn’t she realise that sleeping until noon the next day is the best bit of a night out?
  • Sarah Michelle Gellar was also up early in London on Monday - to open the Harrods’ summer sale.
  • And with four kids, Brad Pitt has probably forgotten the meaning of sleep: he was snapped picking up eldest son Maddox from school on Monday in Prague.
