Katie Price and husband Peter Andre have never exactly been fans of Celebrity Big Brother couple Chantelle Houghton and Preston - and despite having a new daughter to distract him this week, Peter has taken the opportunity to kick the now separated couple again while they’re down.

Pete wrote in his New magazine column this week: “I wasn’t too surprised to hear about Preston and Chantelle’s split last week.”

“Falling in love on a reality show isn’t the same as falling in love in real life and not everyone can make the relationship work in real life as well as Kate and I did.”

“I married my wife because I love her, not because I love fame, and that’s the key to our relationship.”
