- More photos are filtering through from the star-studded Fourth of July Malibu beach parties. Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton were at the same party but reportedly didn’t talk - because Lindsay was too busy with her family and her rumoured new man, AJ Lamas (ex-boyfling Calum Best partied with the Duff sisters down the beach).
- And it wasn’t just the 20something starlets partying on the beach - Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy spent the day at Jim’s Malibu beach house with the children (from their previous relationships) and new adorable puppies.
- Britney Spears spent her Fourth with rumoured new boyfriend John Sundahl at the Four Seasons hotel in LA.
- Elsewhere, Hayden Panettiere glitttered in gold as she sang at the “A Capitol Fourth” celebration in Washington DC. The Heroes star sang ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ then ‘Try’ which will appear on the Bridge To Terabithia soundtrack.
- Other celebrities spent the day with their young families: Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner and Matt Damon & his wife Luciana spent the day together with the respective children in Hawaii. The friends flew back to the mainland yesterday.
- While Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams were snapped strolling around SoHo in New York with their daughter Matilda.
- And Brooke Shields was snapped with husband Chris Henchy and daughters Grier and Rowan.
- Outside the US, life has continued like any other non-holiday week: Jude Law was snapped in Paris with a mystery woman, sparking ‘new girlfriend?’ rumours.
- And Orlando Bloom was photographed with an … interesting moustache while leaving the Duke of York Theatre in London earlier this week (his play In Celebration officially opened at the theatre last night).
- Still in London, while Madonna is busy with rehearsals for tomorrow’s Live Earth concert, Guy Ritchie was snapped in dad-mode out and about with sons Rocky and David.
- And finally Hairspray had its UK premiere in London’s Leicester Square last night with its stars Nikki Blonsky, Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes and Elijah Kelley in attendance.
