Prince William and Kate Middleton are “officially” back together according to the Sun.

The couple have reportedly been dating in secret since shortly after splitting up in April but now a source has told the newspaper that they’ve formally decided to give their relationship another go.

The source told the Sun: “William has persuaded Kate that the problems of dating a future king are a price worth paying.”

“Only when they took a step back did they have space to examine how they really felt about each other.”

“They have now talked through their problems and are closer than ever.”

The couple were spotted dancing together at the ‘Concert for Diana’ after-show party on Sunday night and are expected to go public with their reconcilation soon: “They do not feel there is anything to hide. They are keen to start acting as normally as possible.”

The source added though that their reunion will not result in their instant engagement, saying it’s “very unlikely” that they’ll take the next step until after William leaves the army in 2009.
