Eva Longoria and Tony Parker followed their Friday civil wedding ceremony with a religious service and reception yesterday.

In accordance with French law, the couple were formally married by the mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë on Friday afternoon before their church service yesterday.

Over 250 guests watched the Desperate Housewives star and basketball player exchange vows at the Church of Saint Germain l’Auxerrois near the Louvre museum before travelling to the 17th century Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte just south of Paris for the reception.

Following her mini-dress for the Friday event, on Saturday Eva wore a couture silk wool gown designed by Angel Sanchez, featuring silk metallic embroidery, a scooped back and a long train.

The ceremony was conducted by Father Dominic Schubert, who told Us Weekly: “The couple wanted a quiet church wedding and now they have been married by God. They wanted proceedings to be low-key and dignified and they are extremely happy with how everything went. We were delighted that they were able to celebrate their love in front of so many family and friends.”

Guests included Eva’s co-star Teri Hatcher (with her daughter Emerson), Nicollette Sheridan and Fecility Huffman, as well as other famous friends of the couple such as Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba, Mario Lopez and Ryan Seacrest.
