Billie Piper is reportedly not planning on letting ex-husband Chris Evans beat her down the re-marry aisle in August - she’s reportedly set to marry boyfriend Laurence Fox during the last weekend of this month.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the couple have booked a small venue in the Cotwolds and are planning an intimate ceremony for just close family and friends.

A family source told the newspaper: “Billie and Laurence have called to let a few people know about the wedding. It’s a small affair. They don’t want a glitzy showbiz event - just a lovely day for everyone.”

“Billie is excited and just so happy she has met Laurence. She is completely in love and the happiest I’ve known her for a long time.”

“Her divorce from Chris was made official recently and that has paved the way for a new marriage. Billie is pleased that Chris and her have both moved on and found new partners. It means they can both embark on new chapters in their lives.”

Chris and Billie separated in 2004 but their divorce was only finalised in May. Billie began dating Laurence, her then West-End co-star, at the start of the year.
