Emma WatsonEmma Watson has said her Harry Potter earnings over the last few years could fund the rest of her life without having to work ever again.

She is rumoured to have earned around £2million for the new Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film and will earn a similar amount for the final two films in the series.

She told Parade magazine recently: “Let’s be honest, I have enough money never to have to work again, but I would never want that.”

But even with the money behind it, it wasn’t an easy decision to sign up for the final films: “People underestimate what a big decision this was for me. This is the next three or four years of my life. Being in the spotlight and the lack of freedom are the sort of things that held me back.”
