  • Lindsay Lohan won’t have to pay damages to the owner of a van she crashed into in 2005 after neither party’s representatives turned up for the court hearing in Beverly Hills on Friday. Lindsay was being sued for $3,624.84 in damages after hitting the van while trying to flee from the paparazzi two years ago but after the parties failed to appear, the presiding judge threw out the case.

The couple have reportedly spent most of their stay in the Turks and Caicos islands on the beach “cosying up to each other” and enjoying intimate candlelight dinners. The couple are expected to fly back to LA today, with Eva due to start filming the new series of Desperate Housewives tomorrow.
