Victoria Beckham: we might stay in LA for the rest of our lives
Victoria Beckham has said she could see her family living in Los Angeles for the rest of their lives - but husband David Beckham might not be so keen.
After months of planning since David signed his contract with the LA Galaxy soccer team in January, the family finally moved into their new home in Beverly Hills this week.
Victoria was reportedly less than happy at having to move to Spain when David signed with Real Madrid in 2003 but is happier with the move to California.
Speaking at an event to formally welcome David to the team on Friday, Victoria said: “We are going to be here a long time, this might be where we spend the rest of our lives.”
But a source close to David’s family told the Mail that just last weekend: “David was telling his sister Joanne that he hates having again to unsettle their boys. He hasn’t wanted to move, he [had] not seen the house and he’s even admitted to Victoria that he’s looking forward to coming back in a couple of years.”
“She went mad when he said it, but he is not as signed up to the new lifestyle as she is. She is the one who wants to make it work.”
“This is all about Brand Beckham, and nothing to do with football. He knows that this is a last chance to make a lot of money, and he’s been persuaded to take it.”
A second source added that Victoria might not find the LA scene as great as she thinks: “She was at a party about a month ago and she was horrified to be offered the number of a plastic surgeon for her nose. I guess that’s just LA for you.”

Please stay in LA - A Beckham-free UK would be great, but whatever would the garbage magazines fill their pages up with
