Winona Ryder has said she hopes she hasn’t met the love of her life yet - because if she has, then she’s no longer with them.

Winona, who has had long term relationships with Johnny Depp, Matt Damon and Soul Asylum’s Dave Pirner, told Vogue magazine recently: “You know how people ask, ‘Who is the love of your life?’ God, I hope I haven’t met that person yet, in a way, because I’m single.

“I hope I haven’t had that, since that would be sad.”

But the 35 year old hasn’t given up hope about meeting Mr Right and starting a family: “I think I assumed I would be married and have a kid by the age I am now. It kind of occurred to me for the first time last year: I actually want to go on and have kids.”
