• Pete Doherty has checked into a rehab clinic in Harrogate in his latest effort to beat his drug addiction. A week after he arrived at the clinic then departed again after five minutes, Pete checked into the clinic yesterday and his spokesperson has said treatment is “going well”. Pete’s ex-girlfriend Kate Moss is reportedly paying the £3,000 fee for the five day treatment. Pete faces jail if he doesn’t complete the programme.
  • Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has said he’s going to try to resist the teen-star-goes-wild cliche because he thinks the media are already going to be harder on him now that he’s turned 18. He said recently: “People are always looking to say ‘kid star goes off the rails’. But I try very hard not to go that way because it would be too easy for them. I just think I’m going to be more sort of fair game.”
