Kerry Katona has said she thought she was going to die - or her daughter be kidnapped - when a gang raided her house last week.

Three masked men armed with knifes and a crowbar entered Kerry’s Wilmslow home on Sunday 15th July - and while Kerry’s husband Mark Croft was marched through the house to point out valuables, Kerry and five month old daughter Heidi were locked in a downstairs bathroom.

Kerry entered the Priory for counselling following the incident and told OK magazine recently: “It was the most terrifying night of my life. I thought we were all going to die or that they’d take Heidi away from us. I’m just so thankful that [older daughters] Molly and Lilly weren’t in the house.”

“I’m not sleeping, I’m scared to go back to the house and I get frightened when Mark leaves me alone.”

Over the last year, Kerry has faced custody challenges for Molly and Lilly from ex-husband Brian McFadden, been accused of taking cocaine while pregnant with Heidi and had several former friends sell stories about her to newspapers. She added: “I feel the lowest I’ve felt for a long time and I’ve had some real lows in my life. I don’t mind telling you - I thought that our life in Wilmslow was the start of a new life for us away from all the trouble in Warrington and we were so happy until this happened.”

“I’m sick of hearing that it’s the end of the bad times for me because something worse is always around the corner.”
