Paris Hilton has reportedly been blacklisted as a potential daughter-in-law by rich Greek families in Los Angeles.

Paris has dated a number of Greek shipping heirs, including her on-off relationship with Stavros Niarchos and her engagement to Paris Latsis - but while the families are happy to let their sons have their fun, they are now said to have made it clear that Paris will not be welcomed into their world.

An inside source told the New York Daily News: “Letters have been exchanged between them. It’s fine that they dated her, but they don’t want her in their families.”

The source added that it’s not a question of money - since Paris will inherit some of her grandfather William Barron Hilton’s estate as well as her own money - but more one of class and reputation - the party girls sex videos and jail time counting against her.

But a friend of the Niarchos family doesn’t think Stavros will be dissuaded by his parents if he wants to pursue a relationship with Paris. He was the first person (along with her sister Nicky Hilton) to visit her in jail and she stayed at his house in Hawaii after she was released last month.

The source told the newspaper: “[Stavros] is a big boy. They don’t need to talk to him, because he can handle himself. Yes, everybody knows she’s trouble. But he doesn’t need his family to tell him who to date.”
