Desperate Housewives Jesse Metcalfe thinks people will be surprised when they hear his debut album.

Speaking at an unplugged performance at the Cove Atlantis resort in the Bahamas over the weekend, he told People magazine: “I think a lot of people will be surprised to learn that I actually have [musical] talent.”

“I love playing to an audience. It’s really gratifying.”

And the audience - including Chloe Sevigny and A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints’s Channing Tatum - as said to have been equally appreciative. Channing told the magazine: “[Jesse] was really good. He’s got a great sound.”

Jesse added that even though the event was sponsored by a vodka company, the recent rehabber stayed on energy drinks: “I’m doing really well.”

“I’m taking care of myself. I have too much going on right now to mess it up.”
