Britney Spears on the cover of OK magazineOK magazine have pledged to not sanitize any aspects of a “heartbreaking” photoshoot and interview with Britney Spears.

Rumours started circulating earlier in the week about Britney’s errant behaviour at the photoshoot for the magazine but now the editor-in-chief Sarah Ivens has confirmed the story will run in full in Friday’s issue: “It was like a cry for help really, it wasn’t normal.”

“We’re really hoping that it will provide a wakeup call for her and for the people around her.”

According to inside sources at the shoot and at OK, Britney insisted that untrained members of her entourage fixed her hair and make-up rather than the hired professionals and complained that the wardrobe provided by the magazine’s stylists wasn’t “sexy, short or tight” enough. Sources have claimed she kept picking clothes that were two sizes too small for her, causing unsightly bulges where she was unduly squeezed.

She didn’t however have a problem with the clothes when it came to using a $274 designer dress as a napkin to wipe her hands at lunchtime or when her new dog pooped on a $6,700 pink silk Zac Posen gown.

OK reports: “Brit dismissively refused to take it off, and after consuming her meal, stood up and rubbed grease from her fingers into the front and back of the dress. It was ruined!”

When it came to the interview itself, she reportedly wasn’t in a condition to talk. Another source is quoted as saying: “Britney was in a shocking state. She was babbling incoherently, talking in baby talk. She didn’t make sense. Her eyes were rolling back, she was talking nonsense.”

“She also seemed to be hallucinating, and kept saying strange and worrying things. She was completely paranoid during the entire interview, fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her.”

“The pictures are shocking and most of them are unusable. They paint a frightening picture and could kill her career.”

And it is not just her career she has to think about: estranged husband Kevin Federline is said to be considering suing for full legal and physical custody of their two sons following confirmation of her disturbing behaviour.

A source close to Kevin told the magazine: “Kevin is worried about Sean and Jayden’s safety. He had heard bits and pieces of what was going on from Brit’s mother, Lynne, and from the bodyguards, but … didn’t want to believe she had completely lost it.”
