  • Isla Fisher has confirmed that she’s expecting a child with fiance Sacha Baron Cohen. Rumours began circulating in March at the Wedding Crashers star was pregnant but she recently explained to Movies.com she wanted to keep it quiet for as long as possible: “In the beginning I dodged the rumors… I was trying not to be rude, but there’s a time before you’re sure everything is all right with no complications that you just don’t want to discuss it.” The baby is due in the autumn.
  • As if her animal collection wasn’t big enough already, Paris Hilton has adopted a new chihuahua. The heiress, who was snapped holding three of her dogs in her arms at the beach last week, bought a new male puppy from Pete of Bel Air in LA yesterday afternoon. An onlooker told People magazine: “She loved the puppy, she was all smiles and carried him out of the store in her arms.” The dog is her second canine purchase in a month - she recently bought a Yorkie pup called Cinderella.
