After surprising staff at a children’s playground last week, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stunned the owner of a local bowling alley after hiring out the whole venue so that their kids could hit some pins.

The whole Jolie-Pitt clan, accompanied by Mariane Pearl and her son Adam, rolled up to the Le Palace Vert on Monday, not far away from the castle they were renting in the south west of France.

Owner Patrick Bernard told People magazine: “With only two lanes we’re certainly the smallest bowling in France, so we’re still having trouble realizing we spent Monday afternoon with the most famous couple in the world.”

He added that Brad was particularly attentive when the kids were taking to the lanes: “At one point though, because the children don’t have the strength to always get the ball down the lane, it sometimes stops. Brad thought he’d go down the lane to push it along. He slipped and fell on his back. Hard.”

Unfortunately for Patrick’s wife Brad was fine after the fall and she missed her “only chance in life to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to Brad Pitt.”

The Ocean’s 13 star also took his turn on the air hockey table: “Brad was particularly good at it. He and the three boys played two-a-side teams against one another for almost an hour.”

The bowling trip was the last outing on the family’s holiday - they were spotted leaving France on a private jet on Tuesday.
