Kate Moss reportedly flew into a rage on reading Pete Doherty’s interviews about her in the Mirror this week - and has flown to Spain to escape the confessions.

In the interviews, Pete discussed their relationship - and particularly their split - in detail, explaining that as much as he loves Kate, she’s a jealous “nasty old rag” with a vicious temper.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Kate lost all control - flew into a rage. She is furious that it all makes her look so pathetic when she is the one that has cleaned herself up and dumped him.”

“Pete had given Kate lyrics for a song written in blood when they were together. She had it framed. Yesterday she smashed the picture, ripped the lyrics up and threw them in the bin. She was so upset that he mentioned something so personal as singing Moon River on an phone message.”

“Kate’s rage has now subsided into tears and she is slightly panicking that he is going to do something more aggressive in his pathetic attempt to get her back.”

“She is worried he could be persuaded to do the full kiss and tell. There is a lot more he could say. Kate thinks he got paid a massive amount of money to say what he did - she thinks £150,000.”

“Kate is now being advised to buy his silence before it all gets even more out of hand. She is so angry saying ‘How dare he?’ She has been ranting, screaming down the phone to family and friends that him talking about their relationship is the one thing he promised he would never do.”

“He kept diaries and took pictures of them both. There is a lot that could potentially come out. Her aides - like her manager Sarah Dukas - have taken a sharp intake of breath, thinking the whole thing they have built up could come tumbling down.”

According to the Sun, Kate took a private jet to Spain yesterday to escape the fallout and is staying in a friend’s villa in Marbella.

The Sun’s source added that the supermodel has gone into therapy since the split early last month too: “Her friend Bobby Gillespie, from Primal Scream, recommended a therapist.”

“Kate wants to sort out why she has this self destructive side when it comes to having relationships.”
