  • Just a day after announcing her plans to pursue ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy for child support, Melanie Brown was spotted lunching with Nicole Mitchell, Eddie’s ex-wife - and the mother of his other five children - at the Ivy in Beverly Hills yesterday. An onlooker reports: “They seemed really friendly toward one another. They had a pretty private meal in the back corner, away from all of us. Right before they left, Nicole gave Melanie two kisses on the cheek.”
  • Nicole Richie is set to follow in friend Paris Hilton’s footsteps and spend her jail time at the Century Regional Detention Facility at Lynwood. Nicole had the option to serve her 4-day sentence in a private jail which would be nicer than the county facility - but there she wouldn’t be eligible for participation in an early release scheme as may happen at Lynwood. Nicole is likely to be housed in either the facility’s medical ward or in the same special segregated unit where Paris initially stayed.
