After postponing their lavish nuptials last weekend, Usher married fiancee Tameka Foster in an intimate ceremony at his lawyer’s office in Atlanta on Friday.

The couple had planned to marry in front of around 100 celebrity guests at music mogul LA Reid’s home in the Hamptons, New York - but the event was cancelled at the last minute. However, after a couple of days of split rumours, the couple insisted that it was merely postponed and they were very much still together.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the pair travelled down to their home state of Georgia earlier in the week and married in the private ceremony on Friday afternoon.

Usher’s spokesperson has yet to confirm the news and no details have been given about whether Usher’s estranged mum Jonetta Patton was at the service.

Usher and Tameka are expecting a child together later this year and a source close to the R&B star added that there was no doubt that they would marry before too long because Usher “wants to be there for a baby”.
