Keisha Buchanan has denied that fellow Sugababe star Amelle Berrabah was ordered to choose between the band and her boyfriend Freddie Fuller.

Amelle was rumoured to have been given the ultimatum after missing several publicity events with the band and in an effort to distance the girl-group from Freddie when he stands trial for the rape of Amelle’s sister Samiya later in the year.

However, now Keisha has told the Sun: “We’re here to support Amelle no matter what happens.”

“Unfortunately Amelle has been dealt a hard hand when it comes to her personal life. But she’s never had to choose between her boyfriend and the band.”
