Paris Hilton has no doubt that good friend Nicole Richie is going to be a great mum when she gives birth later in the year.

Nicole finally confirmed her much-rumoured pregnancy last week and speaking to People magazine at an event in West Hollywood on Wednesday, Paris said of her Simple Life star: “She’s really happy. I just got off the phone with her. She’s so excited.”

“I know she’s going to be the best mom ever.”

And Paris also approves of Good Charlotte star Joel Madden as the baby’s father because the pair are “really in love”.
