Eva Longoria has said she and husband Tony Parker will teach their future children to speak the three languages of their cultural backgrounds.

Eva’s family is originally from Mexico and she speaks Spanish fluently as well as English, while Tony’s family is from France - and they hope their children will speak all three languages.

She told People magazine recently: “Tony and I would love to have kids. We will definitely [teach them all three languages] - absolutely, absolutely!”

She added that it will be easier to raise them in a multilingual household now because there are bilingual cartoon characters such as Dora the Explorer: “Speedy Gonzales was the [only] bilingual character growing up and all he said was ‘Arriba! Arriba!’”
