• Joel Madden has given a strong hint that he is planning to marry pregnant girlfriend Nicole Richie. Joel appeared on Live! with Regis and Kelly with his band Good Charlotte yesterday morning and said he has been reading books about pregnancy and parenthood to prepare himself, when Regis Philbin shocked him by asking: “You’re going to present her, maybe, with… A little ring, or something?” Joel replied: “I was hoping it would be a surprise, but now…” The couple are rumoured to be planning to wed before Nicole’s jail time next month.
  • Brad Pitt tipped a museum guard $300 for looking after his family on a VIP tour of the Field Museum in Chicago recently. Brad, Angelina Jolie and their children toured the exhibits and made wax dinosaur toys after the museum had closed to regular visitors for the day earlier in the month. The guard told Us Weekly magazine: “They were a nice couple.”
