Rumours are picking up momentum that Nicole Richie is planning to wed boyfriend Joel Madden before she serves her jail-time next month.

Nicole is set to spend four days in jail at the end of next month after taking a plea bargain last month over her December DUI arrest - and is expecting a child with Joel later in the year.

A source close to Nicole has now said: “She does not want wedding pictures of her in a big old white dress, with a big old pregnant belly.”

The source claims Nicole is planning to marry Joel, spend a few days on a honeymoon then check into the Los Angeles county jail at Lynwood on 28th September - but she isn’t looking for a particularly small, intimate affair and the guest list has already reached 200, which is causing headaches: “pulling off a wedding that size this quickly, well, it isn’t easy.”
