Kate Moss makes Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding cry
Kate Moss reportedly livid to find “her table” backstage at the V Festival had been usurped by Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding and her friends.
An onlooker told the Mirror that when Kate saw Sarah’s gang at “her table” in the Bacardi B-Live tent at the Chelmsford site, she screamed: “Who are these people? There’s too many of them. I’m not going in there, no chance. Get them out!”
The security staff asked Sarah and her posse to leave to make room for the model and the onlooker added: “Sarah looked really upset and scurried off to lock herself in the toilet.”
“Sarah was really upset and kept saying: ‘What have I done?’”
After Kate left (following an incident with an official photographer), organisers tried to invite Sarah back into the tent but “she refused to come out. No amount of apologising was going to budge her.”
It took an hour of coxing to encourage Sarah to rejoin the festivities and when Kate returned later in the evening too, “organisers made sure there was always a table between them and Sarah was kept away from Kate who was giving her evil looks all night.”
But the supermodel herself had her own run-in with security at the festival: she tried to watch Kasabian’s set from the side of the stage but was removed by security after she couldn’t produce the necessary pass.
A Kasabian spokesperson said of the incident: “It’s the funniest thing they had heard in ages.”
