Victoria Beckham has said she’s loving the social scene in Los Angeles and as well as their existing A-list buddies, the family have made a number of new friends during their first month in the city.

She told the Mirror recently: “It’s so great for us all here. The children love the sports and outdoor activities, David loves his new team, and I’m just really happy to be somewhere where I already have friends.”

“Madrid was lovely but we didn’t know too many people, whereas here I have people I can pop round to see. Katie [Holmes]’s a really good friend, as is Eva Longoria - it makes settling in a whole lot easier.”

“The wives [of David’s LA Galaxy teammates] have all been so friendly and welcoming. We had a ‘family day’ with a barbecue at the ground a few weeks ago and it was such good fun - a lot of the players have kids and our boys made loads of friends.”

“I’ve been out with Landon Donovan’s wife a few times, too. She’s great fun and we’ve got a lot in common.”

She added that the month since the move has been a whirlwind of activity: “I haven’t even been shopping in LA apart from to get a few things for the house - there are so many other things to do. And I love driving about and exploring.”

“Obviously, when you first move anywhere there’s a huge flurry of excitement and everyone wants to fly over and see you and hear all about it.”

“[But] then things calm down and you really just have to try and settle your family.”
