  • Mary-Kate Olsen has revealed that she gave up her studies at NYU because she was sick of her classmates selling stories about her to the tabloids. She told New York magazine recently: “They’d have internships at the weeklies [and tell all]. Learning is not fun if you’re not safe.” But she hasn’t dropped out entirely and may complete the remaining year and a half at some point to attain her degree.
  • While most people celebrate their first birthday with just their parents, siblings and jelly-and-ice-cream, Dannielynn Birkhead will mark the big One, with an elaborate party for 200. The event will be held at the home of Tricia Barnstable Brown, who hosts the annual Kentucky Derby party where Larry Birkhead first met Anna Nicole Smith in 2003. The party next month will include “elaborate decorations and hot-air balloons” and the extensive guest list, including Howard K Stern.
