Cameron Diaz & John Mayer: a love waiting to happen, say friends

Sources close to Cameron Diaz say things are going well between Cameron and rumoured new boyfriend John Mayer.

The couple were first linked earlier in the month after they were seen dining together in New York and the rumours picked up speed when they were seen being “super flirty” at John’s hotel last weekend.

A friend of Cameron’s has now told Us Weekly that they’ve known each other for a while but up until now have both been in relationships with other people: “She has always said she was a fan of his musi and he thinks she’s beautiful and really smart.”

“They are both so funny and have a dark sense of humor. It is a natural fit.”

“She likes everything about him so far. He’s wicked-smart, socially aware and into politics and the environment. But it’s very new.”
