  • It’s been the Leeds/Reading Festivals this weekend and even though his band Razorlight drew huge crowds on Friday (Reading) and Saturday (Leeds) as the headlining band, Johnny Borrell was reportedly not so popular backstage. A source told the Mirror that at Leeds, Johnny insisted on having a private tent to hang in away from his bandmates. When asked about it by a fan, one of the band explained it’s “because he’s a t****r.” An onlooker in the VIP bar added: “When Johnny was recognised in the VIP bar he quickly scuttled back to his tent. Other bands don’t like him because he’s slagged them off, and his band never liked [his girlfriend Kirsten Dunst].”
  • And at Reading, Ashlee Simpson reportedly had words to say with boyfriend Pete Wentz when he started jeering at the Red Hot Chili Peppers when they had sound problems. Ashlee, who had acid reflux-related sound problems of her own early in her pop career, is said to have “looked embarrassed and told him not to be so rude!” Pete’s band Fall Out Boy played at Leeds on Friday and Reading yesterday.
