Cheryl Cole: Girls Aloud won’t reunite when we’re “old and wrinkly”
Cheryl Cole has said her band Girls Aloud won’t reunite on a comeback tour after they split it.
As a possible dig at the Spice Girls, Cheryl said recently: “It just wouldn’t be seemly. When we finish, we’ll finish on top. And there’ll be no comeback.”
“We could hardly go out as Girls Aloud when we’re old and wrinkly. We would have to call ourselves Old Girls Aloud - and that would never do.”
The girl group, formed in 2002 on Popstars: The Rivals, has been plagued with split rumours over the last year but are set to release their fourth studio album next week.
