Melanie Chisholm insists that the Spice Girls reunion tour in December will not be a hot bed of partying.

Aside from the fact that four out of the five women will have their children in tow, Melanie explained recently: “Going on tour is like getting married. You have to look your best and prepare by exercising five times a week.”

“After a show we can’t really have drinks in our dressing room, we’ll be back in our hotel rooms and going to bed by 10.30pm.”

Over the weekend, Melanie was rumoured to be considering pulling out of the comeback tour with the girl group in favour of pursuing her own solo ventures.
