Sienna Miller has said the reason she broke up with Jamie Burke earlier this year wasn’t because she was interested in a quick fling with someone else - it’s quite the opposite in fact.

She told the US edition of Vogue recently: “He [Jamie Burke] lives in New York and I live in London. I am at the point of my life where if I am going to be in a relationship, I don’t want to be on the phone for an hour a night.”

“If I am in a relationship I want it to be grounded and solid. I see my sister, and she has this wonderful marriage and a wonderful husband.”

“I’m craving romance in my life. I’m not in the mood for one-night stands, even though it is summer and I should be.”

She added that while “stolen moments” of her relationship with Jude Law were “bliss” and she’ll “love him forever”, “I want to grow from that experience. I don’t want to repeat patterns or carry baggage.”

“I’ve ignored the earthy side of my nature [recently]. I’m really grounded and quite hippy, wanting to nurture and have children and be quiet.”
