Salma Hayek: I’ll be a working mum

Salma Hayek has pledged to keep working after she gives birth to her first child because her career stamina is part of the attraction for her fiance, French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.

Salma said recently: “I’m going to stay [in the US] and run [my production] company. I could just say I will give it all up and be a housewife in Paris. But I said, ‘No.’”

“I was so lucky because I found myself a man who is a great businessman. And he loves it that I work this hard. He has a lot of respect for what I do.”

Salma founded Ventanarosa Productions earlier this year with business partner Jose Tamez. Her baby with Francois-Henri is due any day.
