• George Michael is reportedly in talks with the Spice Girls to write the track that they’ll release as their Christmas single. The girl group are set to release their first single, said to be called ‘Woman’, in early November but will release the second track for the Christmas number one slot bid. A source told the News of the World: “The girls are thrilled to be in talks with George. He’s one of the most talented songwriters around and it will make their comeback bigger and better than ever.”
  • And speaking of Christmas, Robbie Williams reportedly held a Yuletide themed party at his Los Angeles mansion last week. The event included traditional decorations, a turkey dinner and presents all around, in late-20s°C (80°F) temperatures. A source told the People newspaper: “He loves Christmas - and any excuse for a party.”
