While Victoria Beckham insists she loves hanging with the wives & girlfriends of husband David Beckham’s LA Galaxy teammates, a source close to the team claims that’s not really the case.

Victoria told friends recently that she is “happier than she’s been in ten years. That alone makes coming here worthwhile.”

But David - and his teammates - might disagree. The soccer star is said to be depressed about the various injuries he’s sustained since moving to Los Angeles in July and the team source told Closer magazine: “Victoria’s hardly bothered meeting the wives and girlfriends of the other players. It seems like the only people she really cares about are the ones on Hollywood’s A-list and the Galaxy players are D-list.”

“She doesn’t seem to have any real interest in talking to them. We thought having the Beckhams here would transform the team’s fortunes, but so far it’s caused nothing but anger and resentment.”
