Even though she was supposedly well liked when they were together, Kate Hudson has reportedly been barred from contacting Owen Wilson following his suicide attempt last month.

A source close to Kate told the New York Daily News: “Kate has been trying to get in touch with Owen and is distraught that the family doesn’t want her anywhere near him. She is very frustrated.”

“[Owen’s family members] don’t think Kate is good for him.”

The couple dated for almost a year until June after meeting on the set of You, Me and Dupree.
