Nicole KidmanNicole Kidman has said she has no regrets about marrying Tom Cruise even though their relationship ended in divorce.

She told Vanity Fair recently that when she was planning their wedding in 1990, “my agents told me, ‘Once you become Mrs Tom Cruise, you do know your career is going to die. You’re going to absolutely shoot yourself in the foot’. I was appalled.”

“I was like, Hello? I’m in love and I don’t care if it’s shooting myself in the foot. I’d much rather be married.”

“I was in love with him which is why I think we lasted 11 years together. I’ve no regrets in that relationship.”

Nicole and Tom adopted two children during the marriage before divorcing in 2001. She has since married Keith Urban while Tom married Katie Holmes last November.
