Naomi Campbell has said she’s delighted that friend and fellow supermodel Kate Moss has finished with Pete Doherty.

Speaking at the launch of the Fashion for Relief campaign - which will raise money for flood victims, Naomi said she had heard Kate is rumoured to be dating Jamie Hince, guitarist of The Kills.

Naomi told the Mirror: “I hear Kate has a new man. That’s fantastic - good for her. As long as he’s not like that a***hole Pete. Urgh. I hated the way he treated her. I don’t mind if her new guy’s a rocker, as long as he looks after her.”

“I’m so happy for Kate. She truly deserves the best. Kate’s a great mum and a lovely, lovely person. She deserves a guy that will treat her right and appreciate her.”

Naomi added: “A lot of people compare Sienna Miller to [Kate]. But I can’t stand to hear that. I don’t know Sienna Miller but there is no comparison to Kate. I don’t like imitations, I like the real thing.”
