  • After approving heartily of daughter Ashlee Simpson’s boyfriend Pete Wentz, Joe Simpson is reportedly trying to find a new boyfriend for his oldest child Jessica Simpson. According to US Weekly, Joe approached a suitable gent at the Rolling Stone party in Las Vegas at the weekend and told him that Jessica was single: “Joe gave this hottie his assistant’s number and said he’d set him up with Jessica.” Jessica split from boyfriend John Mayer in May.
  • The Spice Girls are rumoured to be planning a warm-up gig at G-A-Y in London in November ahead of the start of their worldwide comeback tour in December and January. A spokesperson for the group has called the rumour “inaccurate” but G-A-Y have announced a special weekend of performances on 29th/30th November and refuse to rule out the Spice. The group begins the much-anticipated tour in Vancouver on 2nd December.
