Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding has said she was surprised that she got together with current boyfriend Tom just a couple of weeks after splitting up with her last boyfriend.

Sarah split from boyfriend of six months, Joe, in May and told the Sun recently: “I was worried because it was such a quick turn around between Joe and Tommy that it looks really bad. I don’t want people thinking I was cheating on Joe or just on the rebound.”

“It wasn’t like that. Joe and I split up and two weeks later I was out with a group of friends and Tommy and I got together. It all came out of the blue.”

“I wasn’t expecting something to happen, it just did. I wasn’t actually looking for a boyfriend - it just happened and next thing I know I’m in another relationship.”

“I’m used to being single and doing my own thing so to have two back-to-back relationships has felt a bit weird. But I still get my own space because Tommy goes out and DJs [at exclusive London club Mahiki] and I don’t go with him every night.”
