- Reese Witherspoon has revealed she has recurring nightmares about drowning after watching her mum save children in trouble in the water when she was younger. She told Elle magazine recently: “[I have] those dreams where you’re drowning and nobody’s helping you and people are just standing on the bank watching you drown? [It’s] not really funny. I remember three occasions where my mother dove into a pool to save a child that was drowning. [Then] watching [my] children by the pool, I have nightmares.”
- Jodie Foster won’t be looking for a role in Robert Rodriguez’s sequel to his 2005 film Sin City - she’s revealed she turned off the DVD half-way through. She told USA Today recently: “That was so painfully cartoonish I was offended. I don’t know how you enjoy or laugh about a child abduction and molestation. What part of that sentence is funny? I can’t get beyond that. I don’t know if everyone understands the impact of that movie’s message.”
