Channel 4’s Transmission presenter Steve Jones has offered his infamous counselling skills to Britney Spears.

Steve, who has been linked to a number of high profile celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson and Halle Berry, told the Sun recently that he’s worried about the former pop princess: “I do worry about her. Britney should come and stay with me for a week.”

“We’d sit down, talk and watch old movies. I’d give her a comfy jumper, make her a nice cup of soup and everything would be OK.”

“She needs love but obviously she’s got dodgy people looking after her.”
