While we’ve been hearing Katie Holmes pregnancy rumours almost constantly since she gave birth to daughter Suri in April 2006, a source on the set of Tom Cruise’s new film insists the couple are now serious about extending their family.

The source from the Valkyrie set in Berlin told OK magazine: “[Having another baby] something they want to do sooner rather than later.”

“Suri has been such a joy for Tom, so he’d be more than happy to have another girl. Katie feels the same.”

The source added that Katie has deliberately left her work schedule open over the next year to allow her time for the pregnancy and the new baby.

Tom already has a further two children, Bella and Connor, from his marriage to Nicole Kidman.
