• Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has revealed she once accidentally ate a £10,000 diamond. Tara had been taken out to dinner by a wealthy boyfriend who had arranged for the stone to be inserted in her dessert but she explained recently: “He had too much to drink and forgot to tell me it was there.” Tara didn’t reveal whether she retrieved it or not.

She revealed recently: “I’d heard he likes to lie on movie sets and say it’s his birthday when it’s not. Two months into the film, lo and behold I come to set one day at noon and there’s a huge birthday cake in the make-up trailer .. I couldn’t believe someone had fallen for it. He was cracking up like a little kid. I think that Chris Walken is so bored with people because he’s such an icon and people worship him so much that he has to do these things to mess with people to entertain himself.”
