George Clooney and new girlfriend Sarah Larson were briefly hospitalised yesterday after a motorcycle accident.

The couple were hit by a car while biking in New Jersey yesterday afternoon. The car is said to have hit the pair as it made a right turn from the left-hand lane.

Sarah broke her foot in the incident and was taken to Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen by ambulance while George followed on his motorbike. When he arrived at the hospital, x-rays revealed he had a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash.

George is currently in the area filming Burn After Reading in New York while Sarah, a Las Vegas cocktail waitress and former Fear Factor contestant, has accompanied George to various premieres and events over the last month.
