• Salma Hayek has become a mum for the first time after giving birth on Thursday. Valentina Paloma Pinault, Salma’s baby with fiance François Henri Pinault, arrived on Thursday at a Los Angeles area hospital and according to Salma’s spokesperson, “mother and daughter are doing well.” According to Us Weekly, François, Salma’s mum Diana and her brother Sami were all there for the delivery and the name had been picked out since Salma was told she was expecting a baby girl three months ago: “She told everyone she loved Valentina because it strong and romantic.”
  • And another new arrival: Noel Gallagher and girlfriend Sara MacDonald welcomed their son into the world yesterday morning. Donovan Rory MacDonald Gallagher was born around 11.15am at an undisclosed location in London, following seven hours of labour. The Oasis star’s spokesperson added: “They are both overjoyed and delighted. [Donovan] is truly beautiful.” Donovan is Sara’s first child and Noel’s second: he already has a seven year old daughter Anais from his previous relationship with Meg Matthews.
