George Clooney could face dangerous driving charges after his motorcycle accident in New Jersey on Friday.

George broke a rib and girlfriend Sarah Larson broke two toes when their bike collided with a car, with the accident initially blamed on the driver of the car.

However a spokesperson for the Weehawken Police Department has said it’s looking like George was to blame, attempting a right hand turn from the left lane: “It’s a he-said, she-said right now, but you can’t pass on the right in Weehawken or anywhere in Jersey.”

George and Sarah were both treated at nearby Palisades Medical Center for their injuries and an member of staff was surprised at how pleasant George was to staff. The medic told the New York Daily News: “He was cool. I thought he would be one of those movie guys who doesn’t talk to anyone, but he wasn’t.”

“He was in pain but he was still talking to the guys.”
