Keira Knightley: I absolutely hate walking the red carpet

Keira Knightley has continued her ranting about her hatred of celebrity, saying that as well as the paparazzi, she hates having her photo taken at red carpet events.

After opening new films Atonement and Silk at various film festivals over the last month, she told Allure magazine recently: “I absolutely hate red carpet events. I don’t like the fact that people write ‘Oh you look like crap’ [afterwards] - I’m not Wonder Woman!”

“I have self-esteem issues. Everybody does. You know, skinny people are allowed to feel sh*t about themselves [too].”

“I haven’t got a clue about how much I weigh. I do not own any scales. And I have noticed it creates an anger in people who are not skinny. People like to blame their insecurities on other people.”
