Paris Hilton plans awareness raising trip to Rwanda

Paris Hilton has revealed plans to travel to Rwanda to raise awareness of the country’s plight.

She told E! News recently: “I’ll be going in November, after I get back from filming my movie. There’s so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help.”

“I want to visit more countries where poverty and children’s issues are a big concern. I know there’s a lot of good I can do just by getting involved and bringing attention to these issues.”

Paris vowed to give more of her time to charity after leaving prison in June and claims she has repeatedly visited a children’s hospital in Los Angeles over the summer.

She also intends to do her bit for the environment too and make her new Beverly Hills home as eco-friendly as possible: “I just bought the house and haven’t been able to work on it yet. But I intend to.”
